Oppenhoffallee was once known as Kaiserallee but was changed in the 1970s. The battle raged in the area as the Germans used shoot n’shoot tactics. We’re following the route of Lt Col. Derrill Daniel’s 2nd Battalion, 26th Infantry regiment in October 1944.
