Walking with History 4 - the Warsaw Uprising 1944 on Fallout pt 1
This is an extended discussion of Phil's presentation
Last week, Phil was on WW2tv.
This week, we discuss the same presentation in an extended format.
Phil literally lost weight during the record due to the heat in his home during recording, and I had a bit of a vicarious trauma attack. You’ll hear us deflating, especially during pt 2. More than three hours of content all together.
Warning - subjects discussed will be especially traumatic and nasty.
The song you hear at the beginning and end is the Marsz Mokotowa, Mokotow March, you can just about hear it on a quiet day, from my window every day at 5 pm as its played at a pre-war gatehouse. I’ll take a picture for the next episode.
I’ll put pt 2 up soon.

As purchased for Phil by their donations and appearing on WW2TV.
Thx also for reposting us on Twitter and Bluesky.
And remember:
I finished Part 1. I always learn so much from you! I like tying the past with the present and great job with the maps of Warsaw, Dustin. Phil speaks in his teacher voice, slowly enough so a student can adsorb the information. Humanity never seems to dig out of the hole of committing genocide. Why? New microphone sounds great. On to part 2.
I'm currently in Saipan. Will catch up with these when I get get home!
